Oops...

STEPHANOPOULOS: The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections.

OBAMA: No, no, no. But the -- I don't think that when you look at what is being promulgated on Fox News, let's say, and Republican commentators who are closely allied to these folks--

STEPHANOPOULOS: But John McCain said that's wrong.

OBAMA: Now, well, look. Listen. You and I both know that the minute that Governor Palin was forced to talk about her daughter, I immediately said that's off limits. And--

STEPHANOPOULOS: But John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.

OBAMA: And what was the first thing the McCain?s campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin.

Let's not play games. What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come--

STEPHANOPOULOS: Christian faith.

OBAMA: -- my Christian faith. Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested--

STEPHANOPOULOS: Has connections, right.

OBAMA: -- that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either.

What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith -- something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time.

The idiot has to be reminded that he purports to be a Christian. This guy doesn't do well when he doesn't have a prepared speech.

Palin's Speach tonight...

was a home run. I've got slow, slow, internet access here in the home of Guns and God, so I can't blog much.

Someone needs to tell Levi not to chew gum on national television.

Comment of the Day...

"To borrow from Ross Perot (not always a good idea), would you hire any of these people as a manager at your company?

"Palin you'd offer the job to right away, and then you'd sweat until she accepted it.

"McCain would seem like a decent choice, but wouldn't make or break you either way.

"You'd wonder how Obama possibly thought he was qualified, and you'd leave him to be hired by some other company where they fall for people who say all the right things.

"And you'd be telling stories about Biden's interview, and making jokes about it, for years."

Attack Cartoons....Ms Palin

If her husband wasn't already one of the first people, I would not be surprised to learn how she fought off an indian attack while nursing and pulling arrows out of her husband with her teeth...a la Maureen O'Hara in a John Wayne movie.

She is seriously all that.

Obama wants to raise taxes and kill babies.
Palin wants to raise babies and kill taxes.

The Tickets are Set...

McCain/Palin '08

Good Choice. She is pro-gun, pro-drilling, and as conservative as you are likely to see these days. While Biden's age removes that anti-McCain meme for M'Bonga, exposing Palin's lack of experience would just show up M'bonga's lack of the same. Amazingly, she has more executive experience than the other three men on the tickets combined.

McCain certainly is a Maverick, isn't he. This woman has a much better chance of being VP than Geraldine Farraro ever did.

So both sides are hip deep into identity politics now... how precious.

She is smokin' admittedly.

M'Bonga's Speech...

The reality of gun ownership may be different for hunters in rural Ohio than for those plagued by gang-violence in Cleveland, but don't tell me we can't uphold the Second Amendment while keeping AK-47s out of the hands of criminals.

AK-47s have been illegal since 1936...this is Moonbat speak for another Assault Weapons Ban.
